Dr. Jacob Rozbruch

Double board certified in both orthopedic surgery and pediatrics, Dr. Jacob Rozbruch received his orthopedic training at The Hospital for Special Surgery, The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. An orthopedist in NYC, he is currently the Chief of General Orthopedics at Mount Sinai-Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan, as well as an Associate Professor at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and Icahn School of Medicine.

Dr. Jacob Rozbruch has been repeatedly named one of New York’s “Best Doctors” by New York Magazine and was elected to its prestigious Hall of Fame as the top orthopedic surgeon in New York City. He has been repeatedly selected as one of the “Top Orthopedic Surgeons in the New York / Metropolitan Area” for the last 20 years (Castle Connolly), as well as one of the “Best Orthopedic Surgeons in America” in its inception year of 2007. Since 1979, when Jacob Rozbruch MD finished his training at The Hospital for Special Surgery and went into private practice as an orthopedist, he has taken care of patients with the highest level of care and surgical expertise. As Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Mount Sinai-Beth Israel Hospital from 1987-1995, Jacob Rozbruch MD is credited with building the hospital's orthopedic department into one of the largest in New York City.

Beloved by his patients, Dr. Jacob Rozbruch is well-known for his superb technical skill in the operating room and his outstanding abilities as a diagnostician and clinician. Jacob Rozbruch MD treats a broad spectrum of orthopedic problems, including lower spine conditions, advanced arthritic joint problems of the hip, knee, and, shoulder, trauma, and sports-related joint injuries to the shoulder, knee, and ankle. His training and double board certification by both the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Academy of Pediatrics has allowed him to treat a wide range of patients. He is a founding member of the nationally prominent Arthritic Hip and Knee Society. Jacob Rozbruch MD is also a fellow of many other prestigious societies, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, the North American Spine Society, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the International Arthroscopy Association, the Foot and Ankle Society, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Jacob Rozbruch lives in New York City with his wife Marsha and has two grown and married children (Josh and Lauren and Jenny and Eric). He is an avid biker and enjoys reading, gardening, and skiing with his family.
